This week's lab required us to create a map layout displaying different tones and textures within a photo image, which is shown above (bottom). We were also tasked with identifying features and objects using their shape, size, shadow, pattern, and surroundings. A map depicting these features and the technique used is displayed above (top). The final part of our lab had us examine an area with a true color and false color image of the area. We compared these two images to investigate the transformation of colors between true color and false color imagery. This was an immensely exciting and intriguing lab. I eagerly await the rest of the course.
